Yes. Getting started is free, and Things to Do is free: our weekly list and Weekly Picks, planned around your own kids. A Weekend Away, a full weekend trip planned around your family, is $49. Party planning starts at $69, with on-site day-of help at $50/hour. Tutoring pods for PS 281 2nd and 4th graders are $40 a session ($320 for 8 sessions, starting any week). One-on-one tutoring for Pre-K through 8th grade is $95/hr online or $120/hr in person. Clubs for 2nd to 5th graders are $20 to $30 a session, paid only for the sessions your child comes to. You'll always see costs clearly before any work begins.

Our team reviews it and gets to work: planning, sourcing, and preparing what's needed. We'll send you a plan, or the next thing we need from you, as soon as it's ready.

It isn't one. Surehand isn't a directory of vendors for you to compare. We're the firm you hire. Our own team plans, sources, and delivers the work under our standards, start to finish, and we're responsible for how it turns out.

Surehand's own team, working in SOFE, the planning platform we built. Software handles the legwork, like tracking RSVPs, organizing options, and checking details. A Surehand planner makes every decision and signs off on everything before it reaches you. You're working with Surehand, not being handed off to a directory.

For a party, your own private plan in SOFE, our platform: the guest list and RSVPs, allergies, the day-of timeline, supplies, and your budget, all kept up to date by your planner. For tutoring, you can add an optional Learning Workspace to follow how each subject is going. Weekend ideas come straight to your texts or email. We email you a sign-in link for any workspace, so there's no password to remember.

SOFE is our platform, the family workspace Surehand plans in. It's made by the same family behind Surehand. Your plan lives there, so our emails will come from SOFE. There's nothing extra to buy. The private link we send you is all you need.

We're focused on New York City families today. If you're outside the city, tell us anyway. We're expanding and want to know where to go next.

Yes. We only use what you share to plan and coordinate what you asked for, and we don't sell your information. In your plan, you choose exactly which details your planner can see, and their access ends when the job is done.

It depends on what you need. A few quick ideas can come back same-day, while a full birthday party plan takes a bit more time to put together well. We'll keep you posted along the way.

Plenty. Surehand handles the execution, but you'll always weigh in on the decisions that actually matter to you. We just won't hand you a stack of vendor profiles to sort through yourself.

Let us know within 48 hours and we'll do one round of revisions to fine-tune it. A different date, destination, or family joining in counts as a new request rather than a revision.

Anytime. Pause for summer camp or a busy stretch and pick up where you left off, or stop with a reply. Weekly Picks is free, so there's nothing to cancel.

Sessions can be rescheduled or canceled with at least 24 hours' notice at no charge. Sessions canceled with less notice, or missed without notice, are billed at the full rate, since that time was reserved for your tutor.

Our planning fee is fully refundable if you cancel before we've started work. Once your planner has started, the fee covers that work and isn't refundable. On-site coordination is only ever billed for the hours actually worked. You pay any vendors (venue, cake, entertainment) directly, so their own policies apply to that part of the cost, not ours.

Tell us anyway. Birthday parties, tutoring, clubs, and things to do are where we're starting, but every form has space to tell us exactly what you need.
