xVentures AI Inc. (“Surehand,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) helps families plan birthday parties, book tutoring, join clubs, and discover kids’ activities. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use our website and request our services, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information We Collect

Information you give us

When you fill out a request on our site, we collect what you tell us, which may include:

• Your name, email address, phone number, and neighborhood or ZIP code
• Information about your child that’s needed to plan or deliver a service, such as their name or nickname, age or grade, school, allergies, interests, or theme preferences
• Details about the specific request: party date and venue, guest count, tutoring subject and goals, the club and days you pick, activity interests, budget, and travel plans for a Weekend Away
• Anything else you choose to share in a free-text field

We don’t require an account or login to use Surehand, and we don’t connect to your email, calendar, or financial accounts.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our site: things like which pages are viewed, general location (such as city or region), device and browser type, and how you arrived at our site. This relies on cookies and similar technologies. It does not include the personal details you share in a request form unless you choose to submit them.

How We Use Information

• To plan, coordinate, and deliver the service you requested, such as scheduling your child’s tutoring, running their club sessions, planning your party, or planning your Weekly Picks or Weekend Away
• To communicate with you about your request, by whichever method you choose (text, WhatsApp, email, or phone)
• To confirm pricing and scope with you before any paid work begins
• To send you occasional updates about things to do, only if you’ve opted in
• To understand and improve how families use our site, using aggregated, non-identifying analytics

We do not sell your personal information, and we never use it to train AI models without your explicit consent.

How We Share Information

We share information only as needed to deliver what you asked for:

• Our team: your planner, tutor, or club leader sees only the details they need for your request. For example, a tutor may see your child’s grade and subject needs.
• Vendors and activity partners: the party vendors and activity partners we work with receive only the details relevant to your request. For example, a party vendor may see your event date, guest count, and allergy notes.
• Service providers: companies that help us operate, such as our form and hosting provider (Netlify) and our analytics provider (Google Analytics).
• Authorities: when required by law.
• Business transfers: if Surehand is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

We do not sell your information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Children’s Privacy

Surehand’s services are used by parents and guardians on behalf of their children. Our site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information directly from a child. Any information about a child is submitted by their parent or guardian for the sole purpose of arranging that child’s tutoring, party, or activities. If you believe a child has provided us with information directly, please contact us and we will delete it.

Online sessions, like tutoring pods, Homework Club, App Lab, and Business Lab, are the one place a child uses our service directly. Before your child’s first session, we ask you, in SOFE and through a link we email you, to agree to how they work. During a session, the tutor or club leader hears your child and sees the work your child does in the session. Using the camera is always optional, and you decide. Pods usually start with a quick hello on video, then cameras are off for most of the hour. Sessions are never recorded. Other kids hear your child only during group time, and see them only when your child’s camera is on. In App Lab, the AI that builds your child’s app never receives your child’s name. If you choose to, you can also let the tutor or club leader see your child’s school work in SOFE: what’s due, how each class is going, recent grades, and teacher comments. That is off unless you turn it on, and they never see school emails or other family members’ information. You can change your choices or end sharing at any time.

At in-person clubs, like Local Business Detectives and Business Lab’s Pitch Day, the club leader photographs your child’s work to send to you. Photos of your child go only to you, and we never post them without your permission.

Cookies

We use cookies for basic site analytics (Google Analytics). Most browsers let you control or clear cookies through their settings; doing so shouldn’t affect your ability to submit a request to Surehand.

Data Retention

We keep your information for as long as needed to deliver the service you requested and to respond to any follow-up. You can ask us to delete your information at any time, subject to any records we’re required to keep for legal or accounting reasons.

Your Choices

• Access or correction: contact us to see or update what we have on file.
• Deletion: ask us to delete your information at any time.
• Marketing opt-out: unsubscribe from any email at any time, or let us know directly.

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to know what personal information we hold about you and to request its deletion. We do not sell personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of in that respect.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect the information you share with us. No online service can guarantee perfect security, so please avoid sending sensitive information (like payment details) through open, unencrypted channels.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We’ll post the updated version here and update the “last updated” date above.
